Alphabet Art: A Juried Exhibition of Queer Artists

Artwork Submission Guidelines and Information

In pursuit of our mission to promote universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt, our order is staging an annual juried exhibition displaying artwork expressing queer sensibilities and recognizing the merits of GLBTQI&F artists. The exhibit creates an event not currently available in middle Tennessee or across the most of the United States. The only independently staged Queer Artist exhibitions are conducted in New York and San Francisco.

Dates:

• Art work submitted for consideration of the selection committee must be postmarked by July 31, 2010
• Artists whose work is selected will be contacted on or before August 10, 2010
• Accepted art work must be delivered by September 3, 2010
• Opening reception and juror awards September 10, 2010; 7:00 to 9:00 PM
• Closing day October 8, 2010

Tickets

Regarding Online Ticket Purchases: We have yet to promulgate the fiduciary joy to support an online ticket service. Tickets are $5 at the door. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
