Freudainschlip, the Angel in Waiting

FreudainshlipFreudainshlip, the Angel in Waiting, cannot remember her first encounter with the Sisters, but he thinks it was meeting Sister Soami Deluxe at a Beltane gathering. “A need to paper over a black hole in [her] soul” motivated Freudianshclip to join the Sisters. He is further motivated by this quote:

“Like service societies have done for generations, whether buddhist nuns or Catholic brothers, we are ministering to our community.”

“I always enjoy our day at Nashville Pride. I always enjoy our day at Nashville Pride. As we hand out ice pops there is a clear action and benefit to what we’re doing. Many of the activities of the Music City Sisters occur in stages and we have to wait to see the results of our work. At Pride, the temperatures are hot. When we give people ice pops, the affect is immediate. I find that immediacy refreshing,” Freudainschlip said.

In 2010, Freudianschlip began her novice project, Alphabet Art: A Juried Exhibition of Queer Artists. Drawing from her background in humanities, he helps the house express its mission by presenting GLBTQIA artists to a public audience.

Freudianschlip recommends, “You can never have enough hats, gloves, and shoes.” But no matter what he’s wearing, it’s his radiant smile that lights up the room.
